The DMA is an international trade association of businesses and nonprofit organizations using and supporting multichannel direct marketing tools and techniques. They offer terrific training programs for improving on direct marketing topics.
Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA)
SIPA is an international trade association serving for-profit subscription newsletter publishers and other specialized-information services. SIPA sponsors excellent conferences, and their site includes listings of companies that provide custom publishing services. NPA membership can help first-time publishers quickly learn the ropes and network with experienced people.
